Happy Father's Day!

A happy Father's Day to all the dads out there.

This morning, I helped make breakfast for my dad.

We had scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns and biscuits. Yum yum!!

Here's a little something I made for my dad at day care:

First Plane Ride!

I took my first plane ride over the Memorial Day holiday weekend! Mom, dad and I flew from Los Angeles to Denver, CO then drove up to Ft. Collins to visit family - including my great grandmother!
I was well behaved on the flight to Denver - at least, that's what mom and dad keep telling everyone. I met some nice people and was all excited about the experience.
We stayed one night in Denver before getting up the next day and going to the Denver Zoo.

Here's dad and me at the zoo with some lions in the background. Both mom and dad prepared me for this visit by showing me some of the animals on their iPhones. Those things are cool - except I can help but want to chew on them. :-)

Here we are with the mountain goats.

After the zoo, we drove up to Ft. Collins and got settled in the loft we rented for the weekend. It was located in the historic part of Ft. Collins with lots of shops and restaurants near by.

I had a great time meeting family memebers over the course of the weekend.

Here we are with my nana and great grandmother, Oba, at the Cracker Barrel restaurant. Their chicken and dumplings were good!

The next day, we visited my first cousins twice removed Jan and Jerry's house for a BBQ. (Don't ask me how I figured that out!) I also met Sebastian, my third cousin, who is one month, to the day, older then me. We had fun playing and enjoyed some yummy burgers and hot dogs!

On Memorial Day, we took a drive to Estes Park, CO which is a beautiful resort town about an hour and a half west of Ft. Collins. I could see myself having lots of fun here when I'm older - both in the summer and winter!

Here we are on top of a hill after riding the tram up. I say "hill" but, remember, we were now at 8,600 feet having come up from 7,500 feet in Estes Park.
I saw an elk on the way up the hill and chimpmunks at the top. The view was great from up there and you see the snow in the mountains off in the distance.
The next day, we drove back to Denver to catch the plane home. Mom and dad said I was a good boy on that flight too, so I guess I did okay on my first big trip.
That makes two states I've been to - only 48 more to go!! :-)
